SPIKE GAME

What are your ambitions with your project?

My wish with this project is to convey the message that many state governments are taking increasingly extreme positions socially, even long standing defenders of democratic institutions. Both governments and people the world must take care to defend peoples’ rights.

Ultimately also if the film receives recognition, to be able to develop it in to a full length film or to receive support for new projects. It has already has some selections including the CANNES FILM AWARDS so crossing my fingers.

How was the shooting? What pleasantly surprised you?

The involvement of the whole team, despite the short time we had for this shoot.

The reaction of frightened passersby on scenes of exterior filming on public roads with the men with their balaclavas which served to demonstrate both how realistic the shoot was and also how current the situation is that passersby were frightened but not surprised at what they thought was a true situation.
